Melissa has degrees in both Hospitality and in Environmental Health. She worked in hotel, pub and restaurant management before qualifying as an EHO. Later she managed a team responsible for enforcing food hygiene and health and safety in the Borough’s 1000+ food businesses.
Melissa is a Chartered EHP (Environmental Health Practitioner) and is on the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register. This means that her competence has been assessed by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and the Health and Safety Executive and that her knowledge is up-to-date.
Melissa is a mother of two teenagers and two golden retrievers and is currently undecided which are the more troublesome.
She previously worked for two major UK retailers and has food safety auditing experience of all sizes of businesses across the globe. Audrey also has experience of working with BRC and SALSA assurance schemes and is an experienced and engaging food safety trainer.
Audrey is a keen cook and author of cook books. Her best sellers extol the virtues of Omega 3 and of slow cookers.
Julia is a Chartered EHP (Environmental Health Practitioner) and has experience in local government, the Health Protection Agency (Public Health England), the private sector and abroad. She helped to rewrite the Industry Guide to Good Hygiene Practice: Catering Guide which is the benchmark for compliance with Food Safety Regulations.
Julia is a mum of three active boys so is kept pretty busy with rugby, football, cricket, guitar lessons and cubs. When she does get any time to herself she can be persuaded to head out with friends for a well earned G&T.
Lucy is our Operations Director based in the Berkhamsted office. Lucy has many years’ experience working in the food industry formally having worked in Retail Operations with M&S for 17 years followed by an operational role within an independent food safety consultancy. More recently she was the Operations Director with a partner company of ours providing an online food safety solution. She brings a wealth of expertise in driving operational efficiencies and coupled with her passion for client service is a perfect fit for our business.
Lucy is a mum of 2 teenage boys and outside of work, in the spirit of ”if you can’t beat them, join them”, she organises her son’s U16 football squad. She has also recently discovered an unexpected love of skydiving (proving that you’re never too old!)
